Residents have an opportunity to remove opioids and other unused medicines from homes this Saturday, April 27, as part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Last October, more than 18 tons of prescription drugs were collected and disposed of across Pennsylvania alone! The initiative helps prevent unused medications ending up in the wrong hands.

Kids ages 6-12 are invited to join Chief of Police Todd Breiner to "Walk the Beat". In addition to safety, Chief Breiner will talk about theft, explaining why stealing is wrong and the consequences. Participants will receive a free t-shirt, a safety book, and a snack provided by local businesses. The walk begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Lebanon Valley YMCA. There is no fee to participate; however, registration is required. Click on the link for more information and a registration form.
