1. Is burning allowed in the township?

Since South Lebanon Township is mandated by the State to recycle, burning is not permitted in the township except in agricultural zones and they may only burn items associated with the farming operation. View Burning Ordinance.

2. Are backyard fire pits allowed?

Yes for recreational purposes only. Only dry wood may be burned and hours are limited. See the Burning Ordinance for more details. See Burning Ordinance, Section 3F.
